Leather Colour Matching Service
A vital part of the leather repair process is the supply of repair colours and and dyes that closely match the colour of the leather being repaired or restored.
From our facility in Preston, we can match to the colour of your leather sample (minimum useful size is approx 2cm). You can post in your sample or you can call in to our workshop Mon-Fri
Colours can be turned around quickly from within 1 working day ensuring convenience to all our trade customers.
Leather Colour Match Service Options

- Match to a RAL K7 Classic Colour Chart – pick the closest colour on the chart to the one you require.
- Price: £10 + vat for the colour matching service

- Plain pigmented leather
- Shadow / two tone coloured leather

How to order a colour match
- Simply post or bring in your colour sample and we take care of the rest.
- The bigger the sample the more accurate the colour match will be.
- We cannot match colours to photos.
- Colour matching is normally completely within 1-2 working days of the sample arriving, then its dispatched the next working day.
To obtain a sample from furniture
If you have removable seat pads there may be a sample sewn to the underside, if not upturn your furniture item, and underneath you will see a black dust cloth stapled to the underside of the furniture, remove a few staples, a corner is best, you should see some excess leather stapled around the inner frame.
To obtain a sample from a Car
Under the seat on classic cars.
Excess leather may be tucked under the headrest, or excess tucked in the rear of a seat pocket.
Or post us the headrest or centre console lid if it matches your seats.
